This card is meant for those who travel a lot and can use travel rewards. Earning these rewards is more easily done with this particular credit card than with others; there are more ways to build up your rewards with a wider range of purchases. Instead of only building up your rewards through travel purchases, you spend money on many other products and services like communications and office equipment; this is a much better way of earning your points than solely trying to earn with travel spending.

The interest rate on this card is 14.99%. This isn't cheapest card when you look at the interest rates but the rewards are quite good. The card does offer JetBlue rewards. Eligible purchases on this credit card will earn you award dollars. You get one award dollar for every U.S. dollar in purchases and every 200 award dollars equals one JetBlue TrueBlue point. Many purchases are eligible to receive double award dollars so you may in fact earn rewards faster than you think. Wireless phone services, car rentals, gasoline, office supplies and equipment purchased may earn double awards. There are exceptions to this and you will want to make sure you read the fine print since these eligible purchases cannot be made at wholesale clubs, superstores or supermarkets. You can make a balance transfer on this card during the first six months you are a member. The annual percentage rate that applies to such transfers is an attractive 3.99%. After the initial six months any balance transfers will be at the current interest rate though.

This is a good credit card for users who are interested in travel rewards card. It is a good rewards program but it just isn't a card with a very attractive interest rate. This is fine if you don't carry a balance on your card. If you are carrying a balance on another card that is at a higher rate though, the introductory balance transfer offer is attractive though.

Through the JetBlue reward scheme this card makes it possible for you to earn yourself travel rewards while spending not only on travel-related products and services but on other, regular purchases as well. This flexibility is one strong point of the account however the high purchase APR and the lack of an interest-free grace period for balance transfers means that you will be paying more money for such services than you would with another similar card.
